Point Pleasant, New Jersey, – The United States Patent and Trademark Office has issued a patent to William Robinson, covering a method, apparatus and system for tracking, locating and monitoring an object or individual in live time (patent, number 6,700,493, the “Robinson Patent”). Mr. Robinson, President of Sovereign Tracking Systems, LLC (“Sovereign”) summarized, “the patent covers an innovative approach for tracking, location, positioning, and monitoring of either assets or individuals in Real-Time, with an ability to display the objects, location, position, movement, and/or status either graphically or by text. The issuance of the patent continues the innovation and dominance of Sovereign in the RTLS market.”
The Robinson Patent is effective as of December 1996.
