The Sovereign Audio Visual Module (AVM) is a comprehensive alarming device that can produce a visual and/or audible notification. The AVM is designed to accept either normally opened or normally closed dry contact closures. The AVM is a self-contained unit with its own wall-mounted power pack.
The AVM includes a wire harness with quick disconnects. The wire harness can be attached to the SAM output pins (N.O. and Comm. 1) or (N.C. and Comm. 2). The AVM includes a reset switch for automatically detecting the logic of the SAM. The AVM also includes an audio selection switch for activating the audio feature of the AVM.
- Mount the AVM to the desired surface by fastening with screws through two mounting tabs.
- Route the wire harness and attach to the SAM output pins (N.O. and Comm. 1) or (N.C. and Comm. 2).
- If you want an audible notification, place the audio selection switch in the up position. (The labeling of the function of the switch is not displayed on the AVM).
- Plug the AVM into wall outlet.
